3-Day Field Test Guarantee Terms and Conditions
The following terms govern the Anthem Knife and Implement 3-Day Field Test program. By purchasing a qualifying Anthem knife and participating in the 3-Day Field Test, you agree to these conditions.
1. Eligibility
The 3-Day Field Test applies only to new, unmodified Anthem knives purchased directly from Anthem Knife and Implement or from an authorized Anthem dealer. Proof of purchase is required. The program is available only to customers located within the United States.
2. Test Period
The test period begins on the day the customer receives the knife, as confirmed by carrier delivery data. Customers are permitted to carry and use the knife for three full days.
The knife must be shipped back on the fourth calendar day after delivery unless the fourth day falls on a weekend or federal holiday. If the fourth day is a weekend or federal holiday, the knife must be shipped on the next available business day.
Example:
If the knife is delivered on Monday, the customer may use it Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The knife must be shipped on Thursday unless Thursday is a holiday. If Thursday is Thanksgiving, the knife must be shipped on Friday.
3. Acceptable Use During the Test
Normal, real world use is permitted. This includes:
• Cutting rope, cordage, plastic, cardboard, or wood shavings
• Field dressing game or fish
• Camp and outdoor tasks
• Everyday carry tasks
• Job site work consistent with pocketknife function
4. Prohibited Use
Damage that results from misuse or abuse voids the right to return the knife. Prohibited actions include:
• Intentional destruction or stress testing beyond intended use
• Striking the knife with a hammer or mallet
• Using the knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or digging tool
• Heating, torching, grinding, or chemical altering
• Sharpening, modifying, or disassembling the knife
• Any action intended to cause extreme or unnatural failure
Anthem reserves the sole right to determine whether damage is consistent with normal use or prohibited use.
5. Condition of Returned Knives
Returned knives must be complete and functional. Normal wear, residue, and dulling are acceptable. Broken blades, missing parts, severe structural damage, or evidence of intentional abuse disqualify the return.
6. Return Requirements
To qualify for a refund, the customer must:
• Submit the 3-Day Field Test return request form
• Ship the knife on the fourth day after delivery or the next available business day if that day is a weekend or federal holiday
• Use a trackable shipping service
• Include all original components such as sheath, packaging, and paperwork
• Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding the shipment of knives
7. Inspection and Refund
Upon receiving the knife, Anthem will inspect the product to confirm it falls within acceptable use guidelines. If approved, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
If the knife is found to be damaged by prohibited use or returned outside the allowed timeframe, Anthem may deny the refund and return the knife to the customer.
8. Limitations
The 3-Day Field Test applies to one knife per customer within a thirty day period unless otherwise authorized by Anthem. The program is intended for honest evaluation and not for repeated free use or product cycling.
9. Fraud Prevention
Anthem monitors returns for signs of abuse, deception, or repeated misuse. Anthem may suspend eligibility for any customer who:
• Attempts multiple returns with evidence of misuse
• Falsifies delivery or return dates
• Violates acceptable use guidelines
• Engages in any behavior inconsistent with good faith testing
• Attempts to exploit weekend or holiday timing to extend the test period
Anthem reserves the right to deny participation in the program at its discretion.
10. Program Changes
Anthem may modify or end the 3-Day Field Test program at any time. Any changes will not affect tests already in progress.
11. Agreement
Participation in the 3-Day Field Test constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
